USA Wrestling's Board of Directors to meet in Dallas, March 13-14 at the Hyatt Regency-Dallas 
 The Board of Directors of USA Wrestling, the national governing body for amateur wrestling in the United States, will hold its semi-annual meeting in Dallas, at the Hyatt Regency-Dallas at Reunion, March 13-14. 
 USA Wrestling is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, as well as FILA, the international wrestling federation. 
 Bruce Baumgartner of Edinboro, Pa. is the President of USA Wrestling, and will chair the Board of Directors meeting. Baumgartner currently works as the athletic director at Edinboro University. He was one of the greatest Olympic athletes of all time, winning four career Olympic medals in freestyle wrestling, including two Olympic gold medals (1984, 1992). 
 The other officers for USA Wrestling include First Vice-President Duane Morgan of Hollister, Calif., Second Vice President Van Stokes of Clarksville, Tenn., Secretary Bill Scherr of Evanston, Ill. and Treasurer Bill Stecklein of Bensalem, Pa. 
 The USA Wrestling Board of Directors include 45 leaders from across the United States, each representing specific segments of the wrestling community. These leaders meet twice each year to set policy and direction for the sport nationwide. 
 USA Wrestling's Executive Director Jim Scherr of Colorado Springs, Colo., along with other members of the national staff, will be in Dallas to attend the meetings. 
 USA Wrestling has announced that the 2000 Olympic Freestyle Team Trials will be hosted in Dallas at Reunion Arena. 
 Assisting USA Wrestling with the organization of the Board of Directors meetings are the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau along with the Dallas 2012 Bid Committee. 
 The Board of Directors will meet on Saturday, March 13, from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, and then from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Only if the meeting is not concluded on Saturday will an additional session be held on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. 
 The USA Wrestling Board of Directors meeting is open to the public.
