Army wins the 1999 Armed Forces Freestyle Championships with four individual champions 
 The U.S. Army won all three of its dual meets to claim the team title at the 1999 Armed Forces Freestyle Championships at Fort Carson, Colo., March 11. 
 The U.S. Army defended its team title with wins over the U.S. Navy, 28-6, the U.S. Air Force, 19-17, and the U.S. Marine Corp, 16-14.   
 The U.S. Marines placed second with a 2-1 team record, scoring team victories over the U.S. Air Force, 24-13, and the U.S. Navy, 35-2. The U.S. Air Force was third with a 0-2-1 record and the U.S. Navy was fourth with a 0-2-1 record. 
 The Army had the most individual champions with four, including Eric Albarracin at 119 pounds, Charles Daniels at 187.25 pounds, Dominic Black at 213.75 pounds and Jason Loukides at 286 pounds.   
 The U.S. Marines had three individual champions, including James Shillow at 138.75 pounds, Marcel Cooper at 152 pounds and Patrick Owens at 167.5 pounds. 
 Jacob Hey was the champion from the U.S. Air Force at 127.75 pounds. 
 The U.S. Army and the U.S. Air force are stationed in Colorado Springs, Colo., while the U.S. Marines are stationed at Quantico, Va. and the U.s. Navy is stationed at Pensacola, Fla. 
 The competition concludes on Saturday, March 13, with the Armed Forces Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships at the Post Field House at Fort Carson, Colo. Session times are 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
