TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR THE 1999 USA FREESTYLE WRESTLING WORLD TEAM TRIALS & VETERANS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 

Seattle, WA. - Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster Northwest for the 1999 USA Freestyle Wrestling World Team Trials and Veterans National Championships. This Olympic-level competition will take place at the Seattle Center 's Mercer Arena, Friday and Saturday, June 18-19, 1999.

Up to 100 of the top ranked freestyle wrestlers will contend for a spot on the U.S. World Team. Members of the 1999 U.S. World Team will go on to compete in the Pan Am Games in Winnipeg, Canada in July and the World Championships in Ankara, Turkey in October of this year.

Expected to compete are 1999 World Cup Gold Medalists Cary Kolat, Lincoln Mcllravy, Les Gutches and Kerry McCoy, plus 1998 World Champion Sammie Henson and many more. Many of these qualifiers will likely go on to represent the United States in the 2000 Olympics.

Coinciding with the World Team Trials will be the Veterans National Championships, for athletes 35-years old and above. Wrestlers from across the nation will compete in four different age division for a chance to reign as national Veterans champions.

The World Team Trials tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster. Ticket prices range from $8-$16 for individual tickets. Group discounts are offered for 10 or more tickets. Two-day passes are available for $30. Seating is general admission with the exception of VIP seats. Reserved VIP seating is limited and prices range $20-$25 per ticket.
