USA Wrestling's Folkstyle Events on the national schedule are set for the 2013-2014 season.

Be sure to add these events to your club calendars for the coming year. Several of these events sold out last year, so please be aware of the registration open dates.

Our season kicks off with the sixth year of USA Wrestling's Cliff Keen Preseason Nationals in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on November 1-3. After previous sell-outs, the tournament expanded last year into a two-day event. Currently there are over 2,646 participants from 40 states preregistered, so don't wait any longer to sign up!

USA Wrestling is also proud to be bringing back the Folkstyle Tour of America for a seventh season. Last year's Tour of America saw a record number of participants! There are five returning events in the series:
* The Northwest Bigfoot Battle in Washington
* The King of the Mountain in Colorado
* The Salt Lake Slam in Utah
* The Georgia Grind in Georgia
* The Dominate in the Dells in Wisconsin.

This year, there will be a new venue for the Georgia Grind. The Georgia International Convention Center in College Park will host this event for the first time.

The USA Wrestling Girls Folkstyle Nationals takes place March 28-30 at the Freede Center at Oklahoma City University. Last year, this event brought in wrestlers from over 30 states, and featured the best girls wrestlers in the country. Registration opens January 1, 2014.

Next, we unveil a new event to partner with Preseason Nationals. The first annual Post-Season Nationals will be held in Las Vegas, Nev. from March 28-30. Champions in both events will receive belts. For more information on this new event, visit the website at:

All roads lead to Cedar Falls, Iowa, where on the first weekend in April, the 2014 ASICS USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals will return to the UNIDome. Last year, there were over 2,400 wrestlers from across the country. This is the first leg of USA Wrestling's coveted Triple Crown. Set your reminders; registration for this highly competitive event opens January 1.
