YAKUTSK, Russia – The USA did not advance any athletes to the medal rounds in men’s freestyle on the final day of action at the annual Dmitry Korkin International on Sunday.

Team USA had three entries at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. The only entry who won a match was Jack Jensen (Colorado Springs, Colo./Army WCAP), who scored a 7-0 technical fall over Ramazan Gungor of Turkey in the first round, but lost in his next match.

Jensen and David Zabriskie (Bethlehem, Pa./Lehigh Valley AC) were pulled back into repechage after the wrestlers they lost to qualified for the finals, but both did not win their opening repechage bout.

Also competing on Sunday was past NCAA champion Cam Simaz (Ithaca, N.Y./Finger Lakes WC).
