WARSAW, Poland – Four U.S. wrestlers competed on the first day of the respected Pytlasinski Memorial International on Saturday, with none of the athletes reaching a medal match. Three of the athletes are members of the 2013 U.S. World Team.
Two-time Olympian Spenser Mango (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army WCAP) opened with a victory by disqualification on cautions over Anar Zeinalov of Estonia. He was edged in the second match by 2011 World silver medalist and 2013 European champion Elbek Tazhyieu of Belarus, 1-2. When Zeinalov failed to reach the finals, Mango was not eligible for repechage.

Neither were eligible for repechage when their opponents did not make the finals.
