University of Oklahoma standouts Andrew Howe and Sam Hazewinkel will both be competing at the 2013 World Team Trials in Stillwater, Okla. this weekend. Both men are top contenders to secure a spot on the world team.
Hazewinkel won the Olympic Trials a year ago earning a spot on the 2012 Olympic Team that competed in London. He defeated Nick Simmons two matches to one in the finals of The Trials last year.
Ready to prove he is back on track is Andrew Howe who was the 2012 Olympic Team Trials runner-up to eventual Olympic Champion Jordan Burroughs. Howe injured his ACL in the finals of The Trials last year and did not compete for over a year. Howe won the University National Championships at 79 kg last month in his first competition back from injury.
