The Northern Plains Regional Championships will be held May 9-11 at the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa.

This event will serve as the final qualifying event for the 2013 U.S. World Team Trials for Senior Greco-Roman and freestyle athletes. The U.S. World Team Trials will be June 21-23 in Stillwater, Okla.

Senior athletes must have been born in 1993 or before and MUST be U.S. citizens eligible to represent the U.S. at the 2013 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Sept. 16-22.

This is the last chance for Seniors to qualify for the World Team Trials other than through Wild-Card selection. 

The top three Junior division place winners in each weight class will qualify for their state's Junior National Team. USA Wrestling's ASICS/Vaughan Junior & Cadet National Championships will be July 12-20 in Fargo, N.D.

Athletes qualify as a Junior if he/she is currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and born on or after September 1, 1993. This event is open to all athletes that meet the age requirement in the Junior division.

Online registration for this event will be open until Tuesday, May 7 at 1 p.m. CST and costs $25 (credit card only). To register online, click here. On-site registration will be available with cash or check only at a higher fee of $35. All athletes must have current USA Wrestling memberships.
