The Carolina Beach Boardwalk in Carolina Beach, North Carolina will soon play host to the 2013 Beach Wrestling National Championships with spots in the World Beach Championships on the line.

The tournament is scheduled to begin at noon on Saturday April 27 and will run till conclusion.

Online registration for the 2013 Beach National Championships will close at 5 p.m. CST on Thursday April 25, 2013. By registering online participants will have a reduced entry fee of $20. On-site registration will cost $25 for kids divisions and $30 for the senior and veterans divisions. 

There is early registration and weigh-in the Friday night before competition followed by a social at Lazy Pirate Sports Bar. Lazy Pirate comes complete with sand volleyball pits where patrons may participate in some exhibition beach wrestling matches.

There will also be a surfing tournament taking place simultaneous with the Beach National Championships.
