24 wrestlers qualify for final day of U.S. Open in freestyle

LAS VEGAS – The freestyle field is now set for the final day of competition at the U.S. Open.

Twenty-four wrestlers earned spots in the final day during the U.S. Open freestyle qualifying tournament on Friday at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The top eight in each weight class on Friday advance to the championship tournament on Friday. They will be drawn in to face the top eight seeds during the competition on Saturday.

Wrestlers were finished on Friday once they clinched a spot in Saturday’s tournament by either making the semifinals or the consolation semifinals.
