The USA Wrestling Weekly broadcast for Friday, March 15, has been posted for fans to enjoy.

USA Wrestling Weekly is a half-hour news broadcast which is produced on a weekly basis, and debuted in January 2011. Presented in a news format, it provides updated information on USA Wrestling activities, as well as a variety of feature segments.

• Coverage of the Big Ten Championships in Champaign, Ill., with interviews and action video from all 10 individual champions, and an interview with Penn State coach Cael Sanderson
• Coverage of the EIWA Championships in Piscataway, N.J., with action video from all 10 finals, and interviews with Kyle Dake, Steve Bosak and Rob Koll.
• Coverage of the NCAA Western Regional in Laramie, Wyo., with interviews with champions Alfonso Hernandez and Trent Sprenkle.
• Update on the MAC Championships with interview with Missouri coach Brian Smith, and a report on the champion teams from all other Div. I conference meets
• Coverage of the NCAA Div. II Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama
• Update on the Keep Olympic Wrestling movement, including some good news for wrestling
• Coverage of the Austrian Junior Greco-Roman Open in Austria.

The USA Wrestling Weekly Photo of the Week contest winner was Illinois USA Wrestling, with a picture showing all the participants at the IKWF State Championships. Together they posed behind a Save Olympic Wrestling banner, during the opening ceremony of this large and popular youth event.

The show is moderated by veteran wrestling broadcaster Scott Casber and is scheduled for distribution each Friday on TheMat.com.

Each episode will also be posted on USA Wrestling’s YouTube Channel. In addition, USA Wrestling Weekly will be offered to a variety of websites, and will also be available to television networks across the nation.
