Liberty Mutual Responsible Sports ()
03/04/2013
Brought to you by the Liberty Mutual Insurance Responsible Sports program.
At Liberty Mutual Insurance, we constantly look for ways to celebrate the countless acts of responsibility shown by people every day who take personal ownership in ensuring positive outcomes in life.
In 2007, we created Responsible Sports as part of this belief, to help ensure that our kids experience the best that sports have to offer in environments that promote and display responsibility. We believe kids can learn valuable life lessons when Responsible Coaches and Responsible Sport Parents come together to support winning both on and off-the-mat. The Responsible Sports program supports youth sports organizations across the country through partnerships with Positive Coaching Alliance and organizations like USA Wrestling. This helps Liberty Mutual Insurance bring to life our newly announced United States Olympic Committee sponsorship and our company’s support of Team USA.
And beginning March 1st, ResponsibleSports.com will have a brand new look along with exciting new features!
The new site will continue to offer great content for responsible youth sport coaches and parents including first-hand insights from professional coaches, Olympians, world-class athletes, sports safety specialists and youth sports authorities.
This includes videos from Jordan Burroughs, Justin Lester, Chas Betts and Dan Gable to name a few. We also have great podcasts from Lee Kemp, Jake Varner and Clarissa Chun plus more! We will continue to expand our library of video profiles, podcast interviews, online articles, downloadable worksheets and online tools. Look for more to be added in the coming months specifically for wrestling fans!
We are also adding new features to our Community Grant program and our coaching survey tool.
Sharing all of this content is now easier than ever with the new social media tools of Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube. Coming later this Spring, ResponsibleSports.com will have a mobile companion site to streamline access on your mobile device or tablet
DON’T FORGET - Along with the website re-launch the Responsible Sports Spring 2013 Community Grant opened on March 1. Wrestling teams from around the country will be competing for one of our fifteen $2,500 grants. Since 2007 we have given away more than a half a million dollars to youth sports organizations through Community Grant! Learn more at ResponsibleSports.com/Grant.
