Oklahoma/Oklahoma State dual to air on FOX Sports Chicago and in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA VS. OKLAHOMA STATE COLLEGE WRESTLING DUAL MEET TO AIR ON FOX SPORTS CHICAGO, AS WELL AS ON COX COMMUNICATIONS AND TCI CHANNEL 9 IN OKLAHOMA 

USA Sports Broadcasting has announced that the Okahoma vs. Oklahoma State college wrestling dual meet will be aired on FOX Sports Chicago, as well as on two major television outlets in Oklahoma in early December.

The annual competition between archrivals Oklahoma and Oklahoma State is known as the "Bedlam Series." Both universities have nationally-ranked wrestling teams, and their competition is traditionally very intense and hard-fought.

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State dual meet will be a two-hour show, taped from the dual meet held in Stillwater, Okla., November 30.

The air date for this event on FOX Sports Chicago on early Sunday morning, December 12 at 12:30 a.m.

Viewers across the nation can also watch this FOX Sports program at the same time on Primestar and Digistar.

Cox Communications in Oklahoma City, Okla. will air the "Bedlam Series" Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State dual meet two times. The first airing is on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:00 p.m., and the second airing is on Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.

TCI Channel 9 in Tulsa, Okla. will also broadcast the show on Thursday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.

The announcers for the dual meet are Larry Nugent, John Rizzuti and National Wrestling Hall of Fame member Myron Roderick.

The Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State dual meet is part of the "College Series of Wrestling," a joint effort between the U.S. Olympic Committee, the National Collegiate Athletic Association and USA Wrestling.

During the 1999-2000 college wrestling season, seven dual meets from the Big 12 and Big Ten conferences will be broadcast. Specific broadcast schedule information on each of the events will be announced when available.
