USA WRESTLING ADDS DIANE ROSE AND DENISE MAHONEY TO ITS NATIONAL STAFF USA Wrestling Executive Director Jim Scherr has announced the addition of Diane Rose and Denise Mahoney, both of Colorado Springs, Colo., as full-time members of USA Wrestling's national staff.USA Wrestling is the national governing body for amateur wrestling in the United States and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee and the international wrestling federation FILA.
Rose has been named USA Wrestling's Executive Assistant, and will be working directly with Scherr in the Executive Department.
Rose comes to USA Wrestling with over 10 years administrative experience working for a number of companies in Florida and New Jersey. Her most recent position was as an administrative manager/account executive for Dan Dee International, Limited, a plush toy manufacturer in Largo, Fla.
Other previous positions include serving as executive secretary for Geneva Corporate Finance, Inc. of Clearwater, Fla.; as administrative assistant for Central Florida Training Labs of Largo, Fla.; as Administrative Assistant for Markovitch and Associates of St. Petersburg, Fla., and as Office Manager for F&S Coating Company, Inc. of Clifton, N.J.
Rose received an associate of Arts in Business Management from St. Petersburg Junior College in May 1995. She also studied business management and court reporting at Erwin Vocational School. Rose is originally from New Jersey.
Mahoney serves as USA Wrestling's travel coordinator, handling the varied travel needs for the organization. She has 21 years experience in all areas of the travel industry, including management, supervisory and sales background in corporate, leisure and government travel.
Her most recent position was as General Manager for Charlie Brown's Goodtime Travel in Colorado Springs, Colo. She served as Branch/Contract Manager for Professional Travel Navigant at the U.S. Air Force Academy for two years. She also worked one year as an on-site corporate agent for American Express Travel in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Mahoney also served in a number of other travel-related positions for U.S. companies in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Colorado. She served over two years as SATO Office Manager for Northwest Airlines in Frankfurt, Germany.
