The USA Wrestling Weekly broadcast for Friday, January 11, 2013, has been posted for fans to enjoy.

USA Wrestling Weekly is a half-hour news broadcast which is produced on a weekly basis, and debuted in January 2011. Presented in a news format, it provides updated information on USA Wrestling activities, as well as a variety of feature segments.

This week’s show included the following feature segments:
• Coverage of the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tenn., with video from all 10 finals bouts courtesy of FloWrestling
• Coverage of the 84 kg Freestyle World Cup Wrestle-off, held in Iowa City, Iowa, which was won by Max Askren
• Coverage of the Iowa vs. Ohio State dual meet in Iowa City, Iowa
• Review of the Wrestling Nations Champions Tour held in Tustin, Calif. in December, featuring Olympic champions Jordan Burroughs and Jake Varner, MMA star Randy Couture and many others
• Feature on the innovative Z-Man Tournament in Hillsboro, Oregon, where the Portland Police assist run the tournament and community goodwill is built
• Olympian Ellis Coleman talks about playing Olympic champion Kenny Monday in the upcoming major motion picture about the Schultz brothers
• Three-time World champion wrestler Lee Kemp featured in video game ShaqDown, with basketball star Shaquille O’Neal
• Olympic Training Center interviews with Coach Matt Lindland and Greco-Roman athlete Nate Engel

The show is moderated by veteran wrestling broadcaster Scott Casber and is scheduled for distribution each Friday on TheMat.com.

Each episode will also be posted on USA Wrestling’s YouTube Channel. In addition, USA Wrestling Weekly will be offered to a variety of websites, and will also be available to television networks across the nation.
