Multi-Divisional National Duals seeds and brackets released for this weekend in Springfield, Ill.

MANHEIM, PA – In preparation for this weekend’s NWCA/Cliff Keen Multi-Divisional National Duals, the seeds and brackets have been released for each of the five divisions featured at the championship event. The first round of competition will start on Saturday at 9:00am at the Prairie Capital Convention Center in Springfield, Illinois.
The Division II level competition will kick off during the opening session with four team match-ups. Along with top seeded Nebraska-Kearney facing Wisconsin-Parkside, three other seeded teams will take the mat against top competition. During the 11:00am session, four seeded teams take the mat with #2 seeded Newberry leading the way against Fort Hays State. The individual Division II round match-ups are highlighted below.

The Division III competition is highlighted by top seeded Wartburg who will square off against #16 seeded Johns Hopkins in the opening session. This will be co-headlined with three other match-ups including six seeded teams. In the 11:00am session, the remaining eight teams will meet to determine the quarterfinalists in the bracket.

In the NAIA division, the top seed Grand View will face off against Indiana Tech in the opening session along with three other quality match-ups featuring six top teams. During the 11:00am session, the bottom side of the bracket will take the mat with #2 seeded SOU leading the way against Missouri Baptist.

The NJCAA division will also get started during the opening 9:00am session with each of the eight teams featured in the competition. As the top two seeds in the bracket, #1 seeded Labette will take on #8 Iowa Lakes and #2 seeded Iowa Central will take on #7 seeded Neosho. The other two match-ups include #3 seeded Colby versus #6 Harper and #4 Niagara versus #5 seeded Lincoln.
As a marquee element to the event, the WCWA Women’s division will open up at 7:00pm on Saturday with two top match-ups: #1 seeded Oklahoma City versus #8 Waldorf and #4 Lindenwood University versus #5 seeded Missouri Valley. In addition, at 8:00pm #2 seeded King will wrestle #7 seeded Wayland Baptist and #3 Simon Fraser will wrestle #6 seeded University of Cumberlands.
