Two teams from the state of Pennsylvania made the most significant moves in the latest USA Today/NWCA/AWN Division I Coaches Poll.

Penn State has regained its position at the top of the poll following a loss by previous No. 1 Minnesota. Oklahoma State, the team responsible for beating the Gophers on Sunday, moved up one spot to No. 2, while Minnesota fell to No. 3.

Ohio State and Iowa flip-flopped places at No. 4 and No. 5, while the rest of the Top 10 remained unchanged as Illinois, Missouri, Cornell, Nebraska and Oklahoma rounded out the bottom half of the Top 10.

Penn from the Ivy League and the EIWA moved into the Top 25 after a weekend win over Lehigh. The Quakers also beat Hofstra over the weekend.

Central Michigan from the MAC moved up to No. 11, while Northwestern moved up to No. 12 following a loss by then-No. 11 Virginia Tech. The Hokies dropped two spots to No. 13.

Pittsburgh, which beat Virginia Tech on a wild final-match fall in the tiebreakers at heavyweight, moved up two spots from No. 18 to No. 16.

The addition of Penn to the rankings gives the EIWA its third Top 25 team, joining No. 8 Cornell and No. 23 Lehigh.
