Historic 2012 NWCA All-Star Classic to be broadcast on Fox College Sports with multiple airings

WASHINGTON D.C. - Wrestling fans across the country who did not have the opportunity to experience the 47th NWCA All-Star Classic presented by The United States Marine Corps live or want to relive the excitement will have eleven chances to view the event compliments of Fox College Sports.
Eight installments will be broadcast via Fox College Sports Pacific and three installments will be broadcast via Fox College Sports Atlantic.
The airings have the potential to reach an audience of more than 50 million households nationwide, placing collegiate wrestling in front of consumers across the United States. The broadcasts were possible because of a sponsorship provided by W.F. Chelsey Real Estate, Inc.
"We are excited about being able to bring this event to wrestling fans across the country on Fox College Sports," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer. "We hope this is a positive step towards more quality coverage for the sport of wrestling.â€
Fox College Sports will air the All-Star Classic, which occurred on November 3 in Bender Arena on the campus of American University, over approximately a span of one month beginning on Monday, November 19 and ending on Saturday, December 15.
The event will air on Fox College Sports Pacific beginning at 7 p.m. on Monday, November 19; 5 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20; 12 a.m. on Monday, December 3; 4 p.m. on Monday, December 3; 2 a.m. on Thursday, December 6; 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12; 8:00 pm on Friday, December 14; and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 15. The event will air on Fox College Sports Atlantic at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21; 8:30 p.m. on Monday, December 3; and 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 9.
“It is exciting anytime college wrestling is on national television," said Elite Level Sport Marketing (ELSM) CEO Coyte Cooper. "We need to continue to position the sport in a manner that will improve the exposure of major events moving forward.â€
