NEW YORK, N.Y. – Nine U.S. athletes earned spot in the championship finals at the 2012 New York AC International in men’s freestyle on Sunday.

Included in the finals will be 2012 Olympian and 2009 World bronze medalist Tervel Dlagnev (Columbus, Ohio/Sunkist Kids) at 120 kg/264.5 lbs. Dlagnev will face Russia’s Magomedgadzhi Nurasulov for the title.

Another past U.S. World Team member in the finals is 2011 World Team member Reece Humphrey (Columbus, Ohio/New York AC), who battles another American, Jimmy Kennedy (Ann Arbor, Mich./New York AC) for the title.

There are two other all-USA finals bouts:
•	66 kg/145.5 lbs. - Chase Pami (Sunkist Kids) vs. Adam Hall (NYAC)
•	96 kg/211.5 lbs - Wynn Michalak (TMWC) vs. Cayle Byers (TMWC) 

Another U.S. finalist is former Appalachian State star Austin Trotman at 84 kg/185 lbs., who faces Russia’s Koloy Kortoev for the title.

One of the finals will be set early, at 4:00 p.m. because of travel challenges: 74 kg bout between Rasul Dzhukaev (Russia) vs Anthony Jones (Michigan Wrestling Club). 

The other six finals will be held at 6:30 p.m.
