Dan Gable Museum releases limited edition Dan Gable singlet

WATERLOO, Iowa — The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum has released a limited edition singlet to commemorate the 40-year anniversary of Dan Gable’s Olympic gold medal. Gable won the 1972 Munich Olympics in freestyle wrestling at 149.5 pounds without surrendering a point in six matches.

The singlet was created and designed by Cliff Keen Athletic. The front of each singlet features the classic image of Dan Gable during the gold medal ceremony at the Olympics along with the words Dan Gable, 1972 Olympic Champion, Zero Points Surrendered. The back of the singlet features the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum logo.

Only 100 singlets will be sold. Each singlet will be signed and numbered by Dan Gable. The cost is $150 for each singlet.

All proceeds benefit the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum, a not-for-profit organization based in Waterloo, Iowa.

“Cliff Keen Athletic is proud to work with the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum to create this special singlet,” said Jim Keen, president of Cliff Keen Athletic. “Dan Gable’s Olympic performance continues to inspire.”
