USA Wrestling will provide unprecedented coverage of the 2012 USA Wrestling Cadet & Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D., from July 14-21.

In conjunction with Wrestling Video Solutions, USA Wrestling’s largest event will also be providing the most live wrestling coverage of any tournament in its history. Up to 18 mats will be streamed live on TheMat.TV during the weeklong even, which draws over 3,000 wrestlers nationwide.

Wrestling fans will be able to watch all the finals matches and medal matches live for the second straight year, as well as be able to view archived matches from the live streams on TheMat.TV.

In addition to Wrestling Video Solutions’ continued support of USA Wrestling events, CageFighter Athletic will also be sponsoring the live streams and premiere a new Jordan Burroughs promo prior to the Cadet women’s freestyle finals on July 14.

Fans can access the webcast via TheMat.TV, WrestlingVideoSolutions.com, Flowrestling.org and Trackwrestling.com. TrackWrestling’s live dashboard will provide links to individual mats and fans can also participate in tournament-related discussion in a chat room via Ustream.tv.

“This tournament is one where fans from all over the country are clamoring for more and more coverage,” said Jason Bryant, USA Wrestling Coordinator of Grassroots & Social Media. “In 2009, we only streamed the finals live. In 2010, we streamed mat 1 for the entire tournament with live graphics. Last year, we provided streams for all the medal matches and did four mats consistently throughout the tournament. The innovation provided by WrestlingVideoSolutions and the sponsorship by CageFighter will make the upcoming Cadet & Junior Nationals the biggest streaming production ever put on by USA Wrestling. We would not be able to do this for our wrestlers, parents and fans without their support and assistance.”

Wrestling Video Solutions was officially launched in 2012, but founder Adam Fenn started the process with WVS by volunteering in Fargo in 2010. Fenn and WVS has been instrumental in the live webcast successes of USA Wrestling the past three years.

“USA Wrestling's continual input on the needs of the wrestling community has been critical to the development of our suite of video services,” said Fenn. “The entire wrestling community will benefit tremendously from their involvement in this project. Fargo marks the second year of our effort. It will be the largest single event we've undertaken to date. Just like in wrestlers, we're working hard and getting better every day.”

"We are excited to work with USA Wrestling to provide wrestling fans, parents and extended families with the opportunity to view the highest level of amateur wrestling that the United States has to offer,” said Mike DiSabato, President and CEO of CageFighter. “Fargo has always been a mid-summer destination for elite Cadet & Junior wrestlers in our sport. Now Fargo, via the world wide web, is a destination for all wrestling fans via the dedicated professionals at WrestlingVideoSolutions and USA Wrestling."

Willing to volunteer?
Because this event is driven by the kindness of volunteers in the Fargo area, anyone willing to volunteer to work cameras for the webcasts should contact Jason Bryant at jbryant@usawrestling.org or Adam Fenn at WVS adam@wrestlingvideosolutions.com to inquire about helping out.
