“The Big Ben Olympic Send-off†supporting U.S. Greco-Roman Olympian Ben Provisor, will be held in Plover, Wis., Thursday, July 19, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
The event will be held at Five Star Lanes, 1960 Post Road, Plover, WI 54467.
The night will be filled with lots of live music, great food, volleyball, bowling and other activities. Ben Provisor t-shirts and photos will also be available.
The live musical entertainment will be provided by The Hits, which features Dennis Provisor, the original keyboard player of The Grassroots, credited with 13 gold records. Dennis Provisor is Ben Provisor’s father. Also appearing are singers Vikki Nason and Kayla Provisor.
Special guests include Olympic medalist, World champion and three-time Olympian Dennis Hall, who has coached Provisor during his career, as well as Stevens Point Mayor Andrew Halvorson and State Senator Julie Lassa.

All proceeds go to support Ben Provisor to win a medal for Team USA at the 2012 Olympics in London this August.
Provisor was a high school wrestling star for Stevens Point High School. He attended Northern Michigan University, then became a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. Provisor earned a spot on the 2012 U.S. Olympic Greco-Roman Team with an inspiring victory at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Iowa City in April. He is currently preparing for the Olympic Games. Ben will wrestle on Sunday, August 5.
