USA Wrestling, Wrestling Video Solutions and Fox College Sports will come together this coming weekend for unprecedented coverage of the 2012 Asics University & FILA Cadet National Championships in Akron, Ohio.

USA Wrestling and Wrestling Video Solutions will come together to stream every mat of competition from the University National portion of the event in both Greco-Roman and freestyle. The finals of the University National freestyle championships will be televised on Fox College Sports in cooperation with Global Media Marketing and Wrestling Video Solutions.

Fans will be able to watch all the action from the University Nationals live on TheMat.TV, USA Wrestling’s YouTube channel and WrestlingVideoSolutions.com, as well as the finals of the FILA Cadet championships in both styles. 

Action will begin Friday with Greco-Roman competition in both the University and FILA Cadet Divisions. Fans will be able to watch all the competition live as well as be able to watch the archived bouts on TheMat.TV in the University Division. Finals will also be available in an archived format, as well as selected matches recorded during the competition.

The freestyle competition will stream up to nine mats in the University Division, with captured matches uploaded to TheMat.TV in the FILA Cadet freestyle division. FILA Cadet freestyle finals will be streamed live, while the University freestyle finals will be on Fox College Sports. Broadcast times will be released when they become available. 

The University Nationals are the first step to qualify for the University World Team Trials held in August in Colorado Springs. The University World Championships will be held in October in Finland. Winners of the FILA Cadet Nationals will qualify for the Cadet World Championships, which will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan in August.
