A talented U.S. Senior team, featuring men’s and women’s freestyle stars, has travelled to New Delhi, India this weekend to compete at the Hari Ram Grand Prix, May 25-27

Among those on the U.S. roster are a number of women’s wrestling stars, including two-time World champion and nine-time World medalist Kristie Davis (Mustang, Okla./Gator WC/OCU)at 72 kg/158.5 lbs., two-time Junior World champion Victoria Anthony (Huntington Beach, Calif./New York AC) at 48 kg/105.5 lbs. and 2008 Junior World champion and 2011 U.S. Senior World Team member Whitney Conder (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) at 51 kg/112.25 lbs.

Rounding out the team lineup are past U.S. Open champion Erin Clodgo (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 67 kg/147.5 lbs., two-time Junior World Team member Jenna Burkert (Rocky Point, N.Y./New York AC) at 59 kg/130 lbs. and WCWA women’s college national champion Shauna Isbell (Flagstaff, Ariz./Lindenwood) at 55 kg/121 lbs.

On the men’s side, past NCAA champion Jon Reader (Ames, Iowa/Sunkist Kids) will compete at 84 kg/185 lbs. Reader won his NCAA title for Iowa State.

Other men on the tour are nationally respected Frank Perrelli (Hackettstown, N.J./New York AC) at 55 kg/121 lbs., Daniel Dennis (Iowa City, Iowa/New York AC) at 60 kg/132 lbs. and Wynn Michalak (Colorado Springs, Colo./Gator WC) at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. All three were also college stars, Perrelli at Cornell, Dennis at Iowa and Michalak at Central Michigan.
