The 2012 USA Wrestling Coach of the Year Mark Manning is committed to teaching his wrestlers to be winners.  However, he does not define “being a winner” in terms of wins versus losses but instead on how his wrestlers react to winning and losing.  He understands that all athletes and especially wrestlers will experience wins and losses.  

Mark shares with Liberty Mutual Insurance Responsible Sports that through experience as a wrestler and a coach and under the direction of his parents he has learned that being a winner is more about how we respond to wins and losses than to the actual outcome itself.
