USA Wrestling is seeking an Assistant Women’s National Coach/OEC Team Coach/FILA Cadet National Team Coach, a full-time position in the National Team Department. The responsibilities for the job, which includes all three assignments, is below:

OEC Team Coach: Specific Responsibilities

o In Conjunction with the Asst. National Team Coach - recruit athletes to the Olympic Education Center (OEC) Program at UCCS

o Facilitate practices for the OEC Program

o Communicate with Athletic Trainer as it pertains to the OEC Athletes

o Work with the National Team Coach and the National Teams Director to set-up and manage the budget for the OEC Program

o Help fund raise for the OEC Program 

o Help the National Team Coaches in the progression of athletes from the OEC Program to the OTC Program

o Work in cooperation with OTC Resident Program (National Team Coach and the Assistant National Team Coach) with training plans

o Develop the competition plans for the OEC Program 

FILA Cadet National Team Coach: Specific Responsibilities 

o Develop, coordinate, and facilitate a comprehensive program for the female FILA Cadet National Team 
1. Recruit FILA Cadet National Team members to camps 
2. Setting up a full FILA Cadet National Team schedule; camps and competitions in coordination and cooperation with the National Coaches 
3. Work with the National Team Coach and the National Teams Director to set-up and manage budget for the FILA Cadet National Team Program 
4. Set-up, coordinate, and facilitate all Cadet National Team Camps 
5. Set up, organize, and staff all Cadet Tours 
6. Coach the FILA Cadet World Teams 
7. Responsible for setting up, coordinating, and staffing the FILA Cadet Pan-American Team trip 
8. Assist the National Coaches recruit volunteer coaches for the Cadet National Team 
9. Assist The National Coaches fund raise for the Cadet National Team 
10. Work in cooperation with FILA Jr National Team Coach 
11. Set-up, coordinate and facilitate an e-mail data base for FILA Cadet and FILA Cadet Volunteer Coaches 

Assistant National Team Coach: Specific Responsibilities

o Attend major age group level competitions (Folkstyle Nationals, Body Bar, Cadet and Jr Nationals, Jr Duals)

o Work w/ National Teams Program Manager with OTC requirements and deadlines

o Work w/ National Teams Program Manager with travel for the OEC Program and the FILA Cadet National Team Program

o Assist with set-up, organizing, and staff “All-National” Camps (on College Campuses)

o  Assist with organizing, set-up, and staff the Spring / Fall Coaches Clinic

o Communicate with Cadet National Team members at least monthly

o Build and foster the relationships with all Development Coaches around the World

Qualifications: Two years of coaching experience and college degree preferred.
