In this exclusive video interview, University of Nebraska wrestling coach, Mark Manning tells us how he emphasizes effort and leadership as the best indication of success, rather than simply winning.

Upon noticing that his own son had developed an attitude which defined success based on wins versus loses, Mark said to him, ”Did you do your part? Did your teammates do their part? Then you were successful”  This focus on the ELM Tree of Mastery is a fundamental principle of Responsible Coaching.
