The United States Olympic Education Center and the Wisconsin World Class Wrestling School (WCW) faced off with a team from Japan, Monday, March 12, in Oshkosh, Wisc. The event consisted of matches between the USOEC and Japan, the WCW team against Japan and the USOEC wrestling the WCW.  

The USOEC split with Japan, each winning three matches. Dmitry Ryabchinskiy defeated Seiya Kanazawa at 55 kg/121 lbs. and Lee Wildes beat Kouta Masakane at 84 kg/185 lbs. Chris Michaels secured the third win for the USOEC, defeating Yoshi Yoneyama at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. 

Japan took three out of four matches from the WCW team. Jose Quintana defeated Takisa Inada at 74 kg/163 lbs., for the WCW’s only win of the evening over Japan.

The USOEC team won two out of three matches against the WCW team with Toby Erickson defeating John Jude at 120 lbs., and Jose Quintana defeated Takasa Inada at 74 kg/163 lbs. The WCW’s only win over the USOEC was a result of an injury to Patrick Budd at 74 kg/163 lbs.
