FLASH: Three U.S. wrestlers at Vladimir Semenov International in Russia eliminated Sunday

KHANTY-MANSIYSK, Russia – All three U.S. men’s freestyle wrestlers competing on Sunday at the Vladimir Semenov International were defeated without winning a medal.

Winning one match during the day were Lloyd Rogers (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 74 kg/163 lbs. and Luke Lofthouse (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye WC) at 96 kg/211.5 lbs.

Dropping his only bout of the day was Doug Umbehauer (Port Matilda, Pa./Nittany Lion WC) at 84 kg/185 lbs.

“All three guys wrestled tough today against very tough competition,” said U.S. coach Brian Keck.

Winning a silver medal on Saturday at this event was Tyler Graff (Loveland, Colo./New York AC) at 60 kg/132 lbs.
