This Wednesday night starting at 6:30 pm, Takedown Wrestling Radio will present a special live broadcast of the 7th ranked Wyoming Cowboys home dual against the always tough University of Northern Colorado on TheMat.com. in a Western Wrestling Conference battle.

The University of Wyoming wrestling team won its sixth-straight dual meet Thursday night in Colorado Springs as the Pokes took out the Air Force Falcons, 32-6.

Five University of Wyoming wrestlers will take part in the last home dual of their careers Wednesday as the Cowboys host conference foe Northern Colorado. 

The details
Action begins at 7 p.m. in the UniWyo Sports Complex versus the Bears. Prior to the dual, seniors Dallas Hintz, Joe LeBlanc, Michael Martinez, Shane Onufer and Chase Smith will be honored in a ceremony to thank them for their years of dedication. 

The opponent
Northern Colorado (3-5 overall, 0-1 Western Wrestling Conference) has wins over Campbell, Colorado Mesa and Chadron State, but has dropped contests to the likes of Drexel, Northern Iowa, CSU Bakersfield, Oregon State and Boise State. 

The seniors
Each of the five seniors has eclipsed the 50-win mark for their careers, and three (Martinez, LeBlanc and Onufer) have 100 or more victories. 

"This is a dual that has a lot of meaning for a special group of guys who have really put their stamp on the history of this program," Wyoming coach Mark Branch said. "We want to send them out right. They've definitely had a huge impact on our wrestling program and my coaching stint at Wyoming. I want to make sure it's a special night for them so I want to come out and wrestle great."

The matchups
The Cowboys (6-2 overall, 3-0 Western Wrestling Conference) will try to keep their conference record flawless, while the Bears hope for their first league win. 

In the individual rankings, the Pokes have five wrestlers in the fold, according to the latest InterMat poll. They include Martinez (18th, 125 pounds), redshirt freshman Zach Zehner (17th, 133), Onufer (third, 165), LeBlanc (first, 184) and junior Alfonso Hernandez (eighth, 197.) 

UNC has one ranked wrestler in senior Gabe Burak, who is rated 11th in the nation at 165 pounds.
