COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Whitney Conder, Helen Maroulis and Randi Beltz were the winners in the Pan American Championships Wrestle-Offs held on Saturday morning at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
Those matches determined the finals spots on the U.S. team for the Pan American Championships, set for later this month in Colorado Springs.
Maroulis beat Leigh Jaynes 1-0, 1-0 in a matchup of past World Team members at 55 kg/121 lbs. Maroulis beat Jaynes in the finals of December’s U.S. Open. Maroulis placed fifth at the 2011 World Championships.
