The Elvin family would like to let the wrestling community know that they have scheduled a celebration of the life of Cherie Elvin, which will be held Saturday, February 25 in Lenexa, Kansas.

The event is set for the Lakeview Village Chapel. There will be a service and a gathering of family and friends, starting at 6:00 p.m. The address at Lakeview Village, Eastside Terrace building is 9000 Park Street, Lenexa KS 66215.

There is a large variety of hotels in the area which would be conveniently close to where the service is being held. The family recommends that you do a web search for hotels in following Kansas cities for rates and availability: Lenexa, Overland Park or Olathe.

Friends of Chuck Elvin would be pleased to know that his recovery continues to progress. He recently received his prosthesis and can stand on it, and walk on it using parallel bars for support. He is also getting around very well with the use of a walker.

The Elvin family continues to appreciate the love and support it has received from the wrestling community and thanks everybody for keeping them all in thoughts and prayers.
