Cody Bickley, Manager of the National Coaches Education Program, will be hosting a NCEP Bronze level clinic webinar on Monday, February 6 and Tuesday, February 7, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.(MST)

The NCEP Bronze level clinic webinar series has proven to be very popular in the past. Participants are encouraged to sign up right away as the webinar is limited to the first 100 people who sign up.

This is the first in a three part advanced coaching education program. The ensuing two parts are Silver and Gold level certification. The purpose of this webinar is to provide a comprehensive coaching education program for wrestling coaches who are committed to expanding their knowledge in the art and science of coaching and wrestling. 

Copper level is not a pre-requisite for the Bronze; however, it may be valuable to those coaches that do not have an advanced formal coaching education. 

USA Wrestling would like to invite volunteer, high school, collegiate and elite international coaches who are looking to improve their wrestling knowledge and ability. Also, professional coaches who wish to continue their knowledge of the sports science, sports first aid, and wrestling technique and tactics. In addition, all coaches who aspire to be national team (all age groups) coaches are included in the targeted audience for the event. 

The Bronze course consists of a four hour clinic, as well as a self study of the USA Wrestling Coaches Guide to Excellence and a self study test. 

The clinic will emphasize group interaction and is facilitated by USA Wrestling’s Manager of NCEP, Cody Bickley.

The guest panelist will feature retired high school and college coach Bob Smith. Smith is a retired coach from Fort Hays State, where he served as head coach from 1992-2000. He coached 13 NCAA Div. II All-Americans and nine Academic All-Americans, and his team placed as high as ninth at the Div. II National Championships. 

The cost of the webinar is $75 and includes a book, participant’s packet, shirt or hat, certificate and bronze card.
