Taylor, a 3X NCAA All-American wrestler from the University of Maryland and now assistant wrestling coach at Columbia University, is recognized for his work as an active straight ally to the LGBT community. In 2010, Taylor founded Athlete Ally to empower athletes, coaches, parents, and fans to stand up as leaders and challenge homophobia and transphobia in sports.
Today, Taylor travels to middle schools, high schools, and colleges speaking to athletes about LGBT inclusion in sports.
Taylor’s commercial in the Buick Human Highlight Reel series will air on the Fox Network at approximately 7 pm EST on Saturday, October 1st and also run throughout the day on the Big Ten Network, a division of the Fox Media Group.
