The final four U.S. men’s freestyle wrestlers have weighed in and received their draws for Sunday’s action at 2011 FILA Junior World Championships in Bucharest, Romania.

Three of the U.S. wrestlers on Sunday are Div. I college wrestlers.

Josh Kindig (Auburn, Pa./Cowboy WC), who is from Oklahoma State, is competing at 66 kg/145.5 lbs. He will face Ebrahim Nasiriafrachali of Iran in the opening session.

At 84 kg/185 lbs., Lee Munster (Fox Lake, Ill./Wildcat WC), who is from Northwestern, will open with Ilya Khamikoyev of Azerbaijan.

Daniel Miller (Berlin, Md./U.S. Naval Academy) is competing at 120 kg/286 lbs., and will face Victor Svetlitskin of Greece.

The high school wrestler competing Sunday is Mark Grey (Rockaway, N.J./Blair Academy) at 55 kg/121 lbs. He is a star for prep powerhouse Blair Academy. Grey was a 2009 Pan American Cadet champion. Grey opens with Sander Orion of Estonia.

“I am optimistic. These are quality individuals and they know how to wrestle,” said National Freestyle Developmental Coach Bill Zadick. “If we learned anything from today, we have to be very stingy in positions and we can’t give up anything. We have to wrestle where we are the best and wrestle through to the points. We have four very talented and capable wrestlers and I am looking forward to tomorrow.”

The U.S. won a medal on the first day of the men’s freestyle action, with Logan Stieber taking a silver medal at 60 kg/132 lbs.

FILA Juniors are athletes who are 17-20 years old. Many of the athletes who are successful at the Junior World Championships go on to win World and Olympic medals for their nations.
