THE 2000 U.S. OLYMPIC WRESTLING TEAM MEMBERS NAMED AS THEMAT.COM WRESTLERS OF THE WEEK OF JUNE 19-25TheMat.com has named its National Wrestlers of the Week for June 19-25.
The winner of TheMat.com International Wrestlers of the Week are the members of the 2000 U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team.

* Garrett Lowney (Appleton, Wis./Minnesota Storm) at 220 pounds
* Rulon Gardner (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 286 pounds

* Terry Brands (Iowa City, Iowa/Hawkeye) at 127.75 pounds
* Cary Kolat (Morgantown, W.Va./Dave Schultz WC) at 138.75 pounds
* Lincoln McIlravy (Iowa City, Iowa/Gateway WC) at 152 pounds
* Brandon Slay (Colorado Springs, Colo./Dave Schultz WC) at 167.5 pounds
* Melvin Douglas (Mesa, Ariz./Sunkist Kids) at 213.75 pounds
* Kerry McCoy (State College, Pa./New York AC) at 286 pounds
Note: No freestyle team member was determined at 187.25 pounds in Dallas, as a Special Wrestle-off will be held between Trials winner Charles Burton (Bloomington, Ind./New York AC) and 2000 U.S. Nationals champion Les Gutches (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at a time and date to be determined, as Gutches received an extension due to injury.
