ASICS has announced that there will be five athletes, all who have been either World or Olympic champions or both, who will be attending the ASICS/Vaughan Junior and Cadet Nationals in Fargo, N.D. for autograph signings.

Featured superstar wrestling heroes at the ASICS booth are Olympic and World champions Dan Gable, Bruce Baumgartner and Kevin Jackson, as well as World champions Terry Brands and Clarissa Chun.

The week begins with a signing by 2008 World champion Clarissa Chun on Saturday, July 16 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Chun, who was fifth in the 2008 Olympic Games, has qualified for the 2011 U.S. Women’s World Team.

Next up is two-time Olympic champion and three-time World Champion Bruce Baumgartner, who will appear on Tuesday, July 19 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Baumgartner won nine World and four Olympic medals during his amazing career, and was flagbearer for the United States at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Wrestling legend Dan Gable, a 1972 Olympic champion and 1971 World champion, makes his appearance on Wednesday, July 20 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Gable was the most successful college coach in history at the University of Iowa, as well as a three-time Olympic Team coach.

1993 and 1995 World Champion Terry Brands will be available on Friday, July 22 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Brands won a bronze medal at the 2000 Olympic Games. He is the assistant coach at the University of Iowa and a past USA Wrestling Freestyle Resident Coach.

1992 Olympic champion Kevin Jackson, who won World gold medals in 1991 and 1995, will appear on Friday, July 22 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Jackson is currently the head coach at Iowa State University, and is a past USA Wrestling Freestyle National Coach.

They’ll all be signing posters free of charge. Announcement boards with their photos will be placed around the FargoDome to remind everybody of these autograph sessions.
