Weeks before his death from cancer in 1993, Jim Valvano spoke these moving words as an honoree at the first ESPY Awards: "Don't give up! Don't ever give up!" Anthony Robles, who embodied that spirit every time he hopped onto a wrestling mat, is working on a speech of his own.

Born with no right leg, Robles won the NCAA 125-pound title in March to cap a 36-0 senior year at Arizona State. On July 13 in Los Angeles, he will receive the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance at the 2011 ESPYs.
