FIGHT NOW TV, Nation’s First 24/7 Boxing/MMA/Combat Sports Channel, 
Debuts Tuesday, May 24

NEW YORK (May 23, 2011) – (www.fightnow.com) The first 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a week combat  sports channel is bringing the best battles, fiercest fights and stunning knockouts to America. FIGHT NOW  TV caters to fight fans of every genre, giving them a front row seat to compelling coverage of MMA, boxing,  wrestling/grappling, Muay Thai, kickboxing and other combat sports. FIGHT NOW is the place for the best analysis, live and current events, documentaries and news coverage of the biggest PPV events and match-ups happenings around the globe.

FIGHT NOW TV was founded by veteran broadcast executives Mike Garrow, Cal Millar and Romen Podzyhun; Garrow will serve as the channel’s General Manager. Longtime sports TV veteran Doug Jacobs serves as a production and programming consultant.

FIGHT NOW TV has also enlisted one of the fight game’s biggest names to join its camp. Former UFC champion and MMA legend Randy Couture will serve as both a spokesperson and analyst for the channel.

“Combat sports events happen 52 weeks a year. There is no off season in the fight game; so whether it’s mixed martial arts, boxing, grappling or kickboxing contests you are into, we offer it all on one dedicated channel,” said Garrow. “There is something for every fight fan on FIGHT NOW TV, as we will deliver ‘knockout’ entertainment to viewers each and every day.”

The nation’s first round-the-clock combat sports channel goes live on Tuesday, May 24 as part of Cablevision’s iO Sports & Entertainment Pak on channel 464. The iO Sports & Entertainment Pak is available to Cablevision customers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Every Night a Different Fight: Seven nights a week FIGHT NOW TV offers a full, uncut event from the sports of boxing, MMA, kickboxing and other combat match ups beginning at 10pm. Guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping.

Talking Boxing with Billy C (Live every Monday to Friday from 6am to 7:30am ET): 
Join highly-respected fight analyst Billy C and his crew of boxing insiders as they breakdown all the latest news and happenings from the world of the sweet science. If you want to be in the “know” with what is going on inside and outside the square circle, this show delivers. 

MMA Junkie Radio Live (Monday to Friday, Noon to 2pm ET): Gorgeous George and his co-host Goze broadcast live from Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas. The Junkies welcome MMA fighters, industry insiders and fans to discuss the latest happenings in the fastest growing sport in the world.

News Hitz (Monday to Friday, four times a day): Keep up to speed on all the happenings from in and around the fight game.  Breaking news, fight world exclusives, and all latest information.

FIGHT Central (Saturday and Sunday nights): Host JT McCarthy breaks down live PPV events before they happen and talks about the breaking news and hot topics of the week as guest insiders and fighters give their take on all things pertaining to the fight world. Fight Central will also cover post-fight PPV events with its After the Bell show.

USA Wrestling Weekly: A new half-hour news broadcast which is produced on a weekly basis. Presented in a news format, it provides updated information on USA Wrestling activities and athletes, as well as a variety of feature segments. Hosted by Scott Casber.

Grapplers Quest: The top organization presenting both amateur and professional grappling tournaments around the world is coming to FIGHT NOW TV. This exclusive weekly series puts the viewer right on the mat as Grapplers Quest founder Brian Cimins hosts the series that showcases the skills and talents of these great athletes who compete for the love of the sport. From rising talent to household names like Matt Hughes, BJ Penn, Frank Mir and Diego Sanchez, Grapplers Quest is a unique series only found on FIGHT NOW TV.    

Enfusion: Fifteen champion Muay Thai fighters from around the world travel to Thailand to live, train and compete, to see who will leave this tropical paradise crowned the king of Muay Thai.
