Manager of National Coaches Education Program Cody Bickley will be presenting an NCEP Bronze Level Clinic webinar on April 26-27, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Mountain Time on both nights.

This is the second online NCEP Bronze clinic of the new calendar year. These webinars have proven very popular and participants are encouraged to sign up right away in order to guarantee their spot in the clinic.

“We’re trying to provide a convenience for coaches who can’t come for a weekend,” said Bickley. “We get a greater pool of coaches. We had five countries represented during a webinar last year. The webinar allows for a larger pool and wider array of knowledge.”

This webinar is designed for coaches who are committed to expanding their knowledge in the art and science of the coaching of wrestling. The Bronze clinic is the first of a three-part advanced coaching education program, which is followed by a Silver and Gold level certifications. 

Copper is not a pre-requisite for the Bronze; however, it may be valuable to those coaches that do not have advanced formal coaching education. A current 2011 USA Wrestling coach’s membership card is a pre-requisite for this webinar. Participation during both nights is mandatory for certification.

The targeted audience is volunteer, high school, collegiate, and elite international coaches who are looking to improve their knowledge and ability. Also, for those coaches who aspire to be a national team coach. 

Sports Sciences, Sports First Aid, Wrestling Technique and Tactics are all applications that will be emphasized on throughout the webinar. 

The Bronze Certification Course is a four hour clinic plus a self study of the USA Wrestling Coach’s Guide to Excellence and self study test. The clinic will emphasize group interaction facilitated by Cody Bickley.
