OU wrestler Ronnie Balfour was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma wrestling program has created an assistance fund for freshman Ronnie Balfour, who was recently diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia (AML).

Balfour won the state championship last year as a senior at Union High School in Tulsa and was among the nation’s top-ranked college recruits.

Donations to help the Balfour family pay for medical bills and other costs associated with treatment may be sent to the OU Athletics Department at the address listed below.
