SZOMBATHELY, Hungary - Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) won a bronze medal at 74 kg/163 lbs. at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday.

Bisek completed the tournament with a 4-1 record. He defeated an opponent from Kazakhstan in the bronze-medal round.

He won his first match against an opponent from Italy, then lost to Nicolai Daragan of Ukraine in the second round. Bisek was pulled back into the repechage rounds when Daragan qualified for the finals.

In the repechage rounds, he defeated a Swedish opponent, then won by default over a wrestler from Croatia to earn a spot in the bronze-medal match.

Bisek was reportedly the only American to win a medal on Saturday.
