National Wrestling Hall of Fame spotlights Pennsylvania with 2011 NCAA Div. I Trivia Challenge

STILLWATER, OK - The National Wrestling Hall of Fame is releasing the 2011 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship Trivia Challenge. In the past, the NWHOF has created a trivia challenge in anticipation of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships.
“These trivia challenges not only test your collegiate wrestling knowledge but reveal the heritage of wrestling in the United States,†according to Lee Roy Smith, Executive Director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. “Hall of Fame Historian, Jay Hammond, a native Pennsylvanian, has focused this year’s NCAA Wrestling Championship trivia challenge on the heritage of Division I Wrestling in Pennsylvania.â€
The NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship Trivia Challenge can be found by going to http://nwhof.org or by following the link at www.wrestlinghalloffame.org. The challenge must be submitted online by 11:00 a.m. CST on Friday, March 11, 2011.
The winner of the trivia challenge will be determined by the first person to submit the challenge with the most correct answers. The NWHOF will present the winner of the challenge at its Family Ties: An American Wrestling Tradition Fan Fest program on Thursday, March 17 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lincoln Financial Field next to the Wells Fargo Center. The winner of the challenge will receive an autograph copy of the new book Family Ties: An American Wrestling Tradition, a NWHOF polo and a hat.
