A large crowd was in attendance when the United States and Serbia met in Sabac for a Greco-Roman dual meet.

SABAC, Serbia – With domination in the upper weight classes, the United States rallied to win a Greco-Roman dual meet over Serbia, 6-5 on Tuesday night

Serbia ran off three straight wins in the lighter weight classes, before Team USA scored its first win, as Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) won at 74 kg/163 lbs. over Marko Devcic, 7-0, 3-0.

Another Serbian win gave the hosts a 4-1 lead, but Team USA stormed back with five victories in the final six matches to claim the dual meet win.

American victories came from:
- C.J. Myers (Camp LeJeune, N.C./U.S. Marines) at 84 kg/185 lbs.
- Chas Betts (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) at 84 kg/185 lbs.
- Robbie Smith (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) at 96 kg/211.5 lbs.
- Justin Ruiz (Boise, Idaho/New York AC) at 96 kg/211.5 lbs.
- Brandon Rupp (Colorado Springs, Colo./Sunkist Kids) at 120 kg/264.5 lbs.

Rupp closed out the team victory by defeating Milos Spasic at heavyweight.

The U.S. team competed at the Grand Prix of Slovenia last week, and will travel to Bulgaria this weekend to wrestle in the Nikola Petrov International this weekend. Assistant National Greco-Roman Coach Momir Petkovic is leading the U.S. delegation, along with coaches Dennis Hall, Dan Hicks and James Johnson.
