The Liberty Mutual Responsible Sports Community Grants are almost here! Registration is now open for the grant period which runs March 1st through May 31st, 2011. 

What does this mean? In 2010, USA Wrestling and Liberty Mutual Insurance partnered together, and we didn’t have a single wrestling club win one of the 20 grants up for grabs, so let be sure to change that for this spring! First step:

Once the grant period opens March 1st, your parents, coaches, friends, neighbors, anyone, can help earn points by completing a 10 question quiz that takes 5 minutes. It’s that easy. 

Past winning wrestling organizations have used the grant money for things like improving coach’s education, upgrading local gym conditions, starting a scholarship and more! What would your club do with $2,500?

The Liberty Mutual Responsible SportsTM program supports volunteer youth sports coaches and parents who help our children succeed both on and off the mat.  We offer many youth sports resources including $2,500 community grants, instructional videos, weekly tips, peer and expert advice, and coursework for those interested in improving the youth sports experience for all involved.
