NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll: Week 12 The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll for February 1, 2011, has been released. Cornell regains the No. 1 spot after falling to No. 2 last week, with wins over Binghamton and Iowa State this past week. Iowa for the first time this season makes their way to the Top 5, taking the No. 2 spot after upsetting an undefeated Penn State team 22-13 on Sunday. Rounding out the rest of this week’s Top 5 are Penn State, Minnesota and Oklahoma State. Moving into the Top 10 this week is Oklahoma. The Top 20 saw some movement this week with: Lehigh, Nebraska, Kent State, Northwestern, American and Cal Poly moving up. The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point. A new poll will be released every Tuesday from now until the week of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament and can be found at www.nwcaonline.com.
