NWCA/USA Today Division I Coaches Poll: Week 11 The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll for January 25, 2011, has been released. Undefeated Penn State takes the unanimous No. 1 spot, as they improved their season record to 13-0, with wins over Pittsburgh and Indiana this past week. Cornell University who was the pre-season favorite and ranked No. 1 for the first 10 weeks drops to No. 2 after a 17-15 loss to No. 12 Lehigh. Rounding out the rest of this week’s Top 5 are Wisconsin, Minnesota and Oklahoma State. Moving into the Top 10 this week is Rutgers after a 24-7 victory over Virginia Tech. The Top 20 saw some movement this week with: Lehigh, Illinois, Kent State, Northwestern and American moving up. The NWCA/USA Today Division I Team Coaches Poll Committee is made up of one coach from each conference. A number one ranking is worth 25 points and a number 25 ranking is worth one point. A new poll will be released every Tuesday from now until the week of the NCAA Division I Wrestling Tournament and can be found at www.nwcaonline.com.
