The Virginia Duals held its annual press conference on Tuesday afternoon at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va.
One coach from each of the divisions spoke on their teams expected performance and how each division will possibly play out.
Old Dominion University head coach Steve Martin spoke about the National College Division, while Apprentice School head coach Bruce Shumaker gave his thoughts about his wrestlers prepping for the American College Division.
On the high school side, Cox H.S. head coach Matt Small talked about the depth of the National High School Division and his nationally-ranked team, while Virginia Tech All-American Chris Martin talked about the American High School Division with his squad, Western Branch from nearby Chesapeake. The host school, Poquoson and head coach Mike Casey, talked about the history and the Black & Blue H.S. Division.
Peninsula Wrestling Association President John Swartz spoke about the toughness of the Virginia Duals and the Middle School Division.
