Fresh off a gold medal at the Haparanda Cup in Haparanda, Sweden, TheMat.com Wrestler of the Week Joe Betterman is the latest guest on the USA Wrestling MatChat Podcast.

An Illinois native and product of the U.S. Olympic Education Center at Northern Michigan University, Betterman has been on the U.S. National Team in Greco-Roman since 2005. A 2007 World Team Member, Betterman was a part of the 2007 World Championship team.

Betterman talks about his goals towards 2012, wrestling at Northern Michigan and battling through injuries.
