O’Town Showdown/USAW Middle & Elementary Folkstyle Nationals coming to Orlando, Fla., Nov. 19-20

Registration continues for the O'Town Showdown/USAW Middle & Elementary Folkstyle National Championships to be held at the Jostens Center in Orlando, Fla., from November 19-20. 

This event is co-hosted by USA Wrestling and Gold Dot Sports. In addition to the Middle and Elementary event, the JV Gold Dot Challenge will take place on Friday, November 19.

Age divisions contested will be Elementary (3rd – 5th graders) and Middle School (6th – 8th graders), while the JV Challenge will feature High School wrestlers (9th – 12th graders). 

Current registration includes wrestlers from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin.

If you are a Florida wrestler and have never had a USA Wrestling membership before, your entry fee will not only enter you into the tournament, but you will also receive a 2010-2011 USA Wrestling membership. All you have to do is indicate that you are a "newbie" during the registration process.

This is the third time USA Wrestling has held this growing youth folkstyle national event in Florida. It’s the first time it has been held in November, as well as the first time it has partnered with the O’Town Showdown.
